The Board of studies in Physics (UG) recognizes that curriculum, course content and assessment of scholastic achievement play complementary roles in shaping education. The broad instructional goals such as basic knowledge of the discipline of physics including phenomenology, theories and techniques, concept and general principles. The goal of the physics major is to provide the student with a broad understanding of the physical principles of the universe, The department of Physics, Kongu College of Arts and Science was established in 1998 with a view to provide knowledge, skill and service in Physics. The department has tried to meet the challenges of the ever-changing face of Science by its outstanding faculty members and lab facilities. Successful candidates of our out gone batches have been placed in different colleges, universities and industries.
